Archipelago Cinema Going to Venice

Looks like our Archipelago Cinema …the collaboration we did with Ole Scheeren will be going to Venice! Ole had it rebuilt over there, Thai-style as ours has been donated in part to the villages in Yao Noi. 

We are thrilled that our little wooden raft is making splashes in lagoons other than at Kudu island’s Nae Pi Lae lagoon. It will be completely different of course - no rocks, no sand, no s

ea meeting never-ending horizon as it will be docked at the Arsenale (shipyard in Venice) with gondolas and speedboats and no long tail boats. Nonetheless, little piece of Film on the Rocks at the Venice Architecture Biennale.

We will not be curating any films there as the architect will be screening a film about himself but stay tuned for some more projects coming up!

Ananda Everingham …words simply cannot describe the hysteria and frenzy that went down when he arrived at the Temple Fair. Every female heart skipped a beat, it was crazy. Ananda then spent the following day going through the villages on a moped meeting everyone and seeing if they enjoyed the screening and party in the rice paddies. Totally the Hero in Yao Noi.
