Our path to SKY …dinner at Pradu Pier.
Inspired by Dan Flavin, Stanley Kubrick’s Space Odyssee:2001, Apichatpong’s description of his new film … it does not end. A dinner on a spaceship at the end of the world decorated in local southern style serving a feast by Bo.lan with music by Zudrangma.

We are really proud of our raft … it is baking in the sun at the moment in Yao Noi as it prepares for its next journey and to make its way back to the Village. It is one of the collaborations which we initiated, this time with Ole Scheeren. It is one of the collaborations which our foundation, the Film on the Rocks Yao Noi Foundation presided by Nat Sarasas, Chomwan Weeraworawit and Apichatpong Weerasethakul that we presented at Film on the Rocks Yao Noi. It was worth Chomwan’s trips to Beijing despite the cold. Thanks to Lenny Wong who was on ground with Win and also K Anuwat for supervising the building by the local fishermen.
It was truly magical, like going back to Never Land …
More on this to come …
